Hi, I'm Mariel. I'm the artist behind the lens.  I am originally from Guatemala, but I have lived in 7 different countries and speak three languages.  I grew up amongst travels and cameras, with two adventurous parents who truly cherished keeping memories and collecting art.

For as long as I can remember, I have loved to take pictures.  I started with travel photography blog as a hobby until one friend who liked my work asked me to take her wedding photos in Madrid. I naively said yes, and eleven years later here we are!

 

The truth is photography is my words, light is my ink and my eye is my tool to portray bliss and our ephemeral reality. To me, keeping your memories and creating art on such a special day as a wedding is much more than just a job, it has become my purpose to portray the most special love stories.

I work with two Canon R6 cameras, and two lenses 24-70 F2.8 and a 50mm F1.2. I also do film photography and together with my husband Ringo, we create beautiful Wedding Movies.
